It's Only Rock & Roll, But I Like It

I took these pics of myself during the November 9, 2002 recording session that resulted in "How Much More" and "American in London." You can see me taking turns at playing guitar, bass, and keyboards, and even taking a stab at vocals; if you squint, you can just make out the vinyl copy of the Go-Go's album "Beauty and the Beat" standing up on my turntable for inspiration.

"American in London" is my first recording with the EBow taking the place of my pick; I'm sure there'll be more...

Notice how both my guitar and my bass are right-handed instruments played upside-down? I've since replaced the bass, a cheap one anyway, with a left-handed Kramer, and I own a lefty guitar, too, but the black Strat knockoff still comes out to play...

My Yamaha PSR-48, circa 1989, was used right into the 21st century, but it's history now

I have my parents to thank for both the EBow and the Shure microphone.  :)   As I'd written this song two and a half years before I finally recorded it, I needed to have the lyrics in front of me to sing it. Heh-heh...
