Hello, friend. ;) Welcome to the Not An Exit Web site. That's right, NAE have been terrorizing music lovers since 1992...! Of course, we've got a very slow metabolism. It's actually been a few years since a Not An Exit recording was completed.
The last few ideas we've tinkered with include a definitive recording of "April Fool's Day," a transplant of the Middle Eastern-tinged "Lies" onto another song that came to us in early '04, an NAE cover of Andy's "For Dana" and maybe "Look at the Stars with Me," a theme song for the slightly-dead Web site Foogar.com... Jon and Andy were roommates for two years, but while that did get us to jam together more, it didn't really speed up the recording process. Andy's debut album, Joy in the New, was released in mid-2004, and he's (gradually) working on a second CD; Jon's moved out, gotten married, and is working on his own music, too. Still, don't count Not An Exit out yet!
